The Exidor 317 silver push bar solution is designed specifically for rebated double doors, combining reliable emergency egress with reliable security. This complete double door set features a rim latch (panic latch mechanism) on the active leaf paired with a vertical bolt system that includes Pullman latches on the inactive leaf, ensuring smooth, secure three-point locking while allowing instant release in panic situations. Made by Exidor (part of ASSA ABLOY), the Exidor 317 push bar complies with BS EN 1125 standards for panic exit devices, providing certified safety for public buildings, commercial premises, schools, hospitals, and other busy environments. Its silver finish (usually RAL 9022) offers a sleek, professional look that complements modern and traditional door styles.

    The Exidor 317 for rebated double doors consists of a panic latch (296), a panic bolt with vertical pullman latches (311), and a box keep (300).  Pullman latches enhance security and provide a smooth latching action.

    The Exidor 200/300 Series of escape hardware consists of a vertical bolt, rim latch, and mortice night latch operator. Each product is operated by a push pad (EN179) or horizontal bar (EN1125), which, when pushed in a downward arc, withdraws the locking element, releasing the door for immediate egress.

    *Certifire approves the Exidor 200/300 series for use on timber and steel doors to EN 1634-1: 2000. The rating will depend on the certification of the fire door. It is essential to realise that the hardware is required for the first part of the test until the door is sealed into the frame. After this period, the fire door is then responsible for sealing off the area.
