The wireless Dorgard fire door hold-open system, designed with safety in mind, enables you to keep fire doors open securely and in compliance with regulations. It automatically releases them to close via a door closer when the fire alarm sounds. After the fire alarm has been sounding for approximately 14 seconds and exceeds a sound level of 65dB, the Dorgard fire door retainer will automatically release, ensuring the fire door closes under the control of an overhead door closer. 

Features of this Fireco Dorgard product include a foot-operated manual release and adjustment for ease of use, automatic night-time release, low-battery automatic door release, and an integrated power-on LED indicator. The installation of the Dorgard is quick and straightforward, providing reassurance that it can be easily set up. It utilises a battery-operated wireless system that requires no hardwiring, further simplifying the process.
