The Briton 380-1011 SE alarm switch end box includes an integral microswitch for Briton 370-series panic exit hardware. Designed specifically for the Briton 376 (vertical panic bolt), Briton 378 (rim panic latch), and Briton 379 (mortice night latch) models, this alarm switch end box converts a standard push bar into an alarmed exit device. When the push bar is operated, the high-quality microswitch activates, enabling connection to your existing intruder alarm, access control, or monitoring system. With a switch rating of 5A resistive/3A inductive load, it delivers reliable performance in demanding commercial and public environments.

The Briton 370 Series of escape hardware consists of a vertical bolt, rim latch, and mortice night latch operator. Each product is operated by a push pad (EN179) or horizontal bar (EN1125), which, when pushed in a downward arc, withdraws the locking element, releasing the door for immediate egress.
