The Briton 5230.57.S.SS bathroom lock with 57mm backset and square forend is a dependable, high-quality mortice bathroom lock designed for privacy use on bathroom doors and other internal doors requiring secure locking. Part of the trusted Briton 5200 series from Allegion, this bathroom mortice sash lock (also called a privacy lock) is operated via a thumb turn and an emergency release. It includes a 13mm single-throw hardened steel deadbolt for strong privacy protection (thrown by the internal thumb turn) and a latch retracted by lever handles from both sides.
