The Briton 2420.IP intumescent pack is an essential fire safety accessory explicitly designed for Briton 2420.T series concealed cam-action door closers, part of the popular Briton 2400 series. When installing these high-performance, fully concealed cam-action door closers into timber fire doors, a significant amount of fire-resistant material is removed to accommodate the closer body and slide track. The 2420.IP intumescent gasket kit provides vital protection, expanding under heat to seal gaps and preserve the door's integrity during a fire.

The Briton 2400 Series is a precision-manufactured cam-action, slide channel door closer, in a compact concealed unit. With the closer body mounted within the top of the door and the slide track within the head frame, the Briton 2400 Series offers high resistance to abuse being fully concealed when the door is closed. Suitable for doors 44mm thick and above.
